Alpha Alert
The ONLY place for ALL the information on Alpha 1!
Time is slowly closing in. We are now mere weeks away from the second explosive season of Alpha 1 Wrestling here in Hamilton, and as always, the first show promises to be as impressive as all those before it.
Recently announced matches have been the talk of all the internet boards and Facebook, including the likes of Micheal Elgin running hard at Super Smash Brother, Dos. Both of these men are familier with one another, not just in Alpha 1 but across Canada. Elgin carries the heavy hands of stone, and his sick sit out powerbomb, but Dos brings with him an ariel ability, along with a great reversal playbook. Will the Canadian Crazyhorse stampede Dos, or can Dos smash Elgin and make his way back towards the Alpha Male title picture?
Also signed recently, was surfing superstar Johnny Wave taking on indy mainstay Tyson Dux. If you haven't seen Dux, you have NO idea what you're missing. The man was at the Asylum for the early days of TNA and has worked all over the world. Recently, I saw a match he had with Native American Tatanka, and it was pure majesty. That being said, Wave is no push over. His matches in Alpha 1 over season 1 were all incredible, plus with the development of his Undertow submission hold, nothing can hold the Kilauea Kid down. Both men can take it to the skies and both men can take it to the mat. This is going to easily be one of those Alpha 1 matches that the Fan Faithful will be talking about for years to come.
Zero Gravity makes its debut at Stage 2 on Feb 20th. For those of you who haven't been keeping up, Zero Gravity is going to be the new title, based on appearance records, and in a 4 way elimination match, this is going to be one for the books. The Fan Faithful is familier with Allesandro Del Bruno, FIFA's favourite superstar, but the rest of the match is a total wild card. Anthony Fiasco, who is an indy wrestling phenomenon, is coming in to give us all a little taste of Mr. Swaggerific, along with Timothy Krane and Andrew Davis. Krane earned his spot at The Final Act, but Davis is a bit of a mystery. There isn't a ton of information on him, but I'm sure the match will still be as explosive. All four men have something to prove, and fighting to gain a brand new belt in the interim is going to take them all a step up.
Finally, after speaking with Justin Sane for a few hours this week, the man is incensed. Sane wants nothing less than Brodie Lee's head on a pike, after the brutal assault that took place after his crowing achievement of winning the Alpha Male title. Will Danny Magnum and Steve Brown have anything to say about it? No one knows. I haven't been able to track down either for a comment, but you have to think they have SOMETHING planned for Feb. 20th. Also, Cheech from Up in Smoke has personally promised me that his three way with Josh Alexander and DangerBoy will be epic, and everyone knows that if Cheech says it, you can take it straight to the bank.
Folks, ALL of this is taking place on Dartnall and Rymal, at the Firefighters Banquet Hall, or what the Fan Faithful are now dubbing the Alpha Arena. Feb. 20th is the date, and the price is as low as 10 dollars for most seats. If you haven't made your plans to get out to the beginning of a brand new season of high impact, hard hitting action, DO IT NOW. Tickets are going quickly, and this show is going to be as close to AMAZING as it can get!
